I've been working in film production for over twenty years as a Producer, Line Producer, Unit Production Manager and sometime Director and Assistant Director. My work includes numerous national commercials, music videos, motion pictures and various television projects.
Movies are still my first love. They are how I ended up in production. Some of my movie and TV work include Plastic, Finding Joy, Bully, Empire, Vendetta, Chapter Zero, The Last Marshal, Landfall, Suicide Blonde, Grapevine, Going to California, Hey DJ and a number of others. I'm also the former Head of Production for Santa Monica based Social Capital Films. Prior to that I established MovieBudget.com in 2000. A lot of independent filmmakers, as well as Viacom and Sony Pictures, utilized the feature film development service set up for their film’s breakdowns, schedules, budgets and or business plans.
Working in film production means a lot more than doing just feature films. Especially today. There are more screens to fill than ever and the number will only continue to keep growing for the foreseeable future. I'm well versed in short form content, having done hundreds of commercials and music videos. Some of his past work includes Wyclef, Lenny Kravitz, Jennifer Lopez, R. Kelly, 50 Cent, G-Unit, Gloria Estefan, Trick Daddy, T.I., Young Jeezy, Trey Singz, Nicki Minaj, Craig David, Akon, Enrique Iglesias, Disney, Target, Macy’s, Phat Farm, Vicoria's Secret, Diesel, Sean John, Roccowear, Bell South, Sprint, Pringles, Baskin-Robinns, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Malibu Rum, VW, Infiniti, Mattel, Kodak, DeBeers, Mellon Bank, Chase Manhattan and many others.
I teach a graduate level Motion Picture Production Management class at the University of Miami during the spring semester every year since 2006. It is an entire semester in six Saturday afternoon lectures. Plus homework and tests of course. I have also been active in the production community. I was recently on the Executive Board of directors of Film Florida for two years, am currently on the board of the Florida Film Production Coalition, co-created the non-profit Cinevisun and at one time sat on the Professional Advisory Committee for Miami International University of Art and Design. In the old days (90's) I previously served on the Board of Directors of the South Beach Film Festival for six years and was its director for three. I've sat on panels, given lectures or was a judge for IFP. NYIFF, MIFF, MsFF, BIFF, SBFF, NALIP, Film-Gate, Indie Film Club, UM and KU.
